Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra

Congratulations to all participants in the inaugural Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra! All (1142) race photos are posted and indexed now. Extra images that are not quite sharp enough for prints (I actually took nearly 1500) are now posted in a public album on Facebook for your viewing pleasure and free download. Enter your 3-digit TEAM bib number (without the leg #) or 1-2 digit ULTRA bib number to search. Relays: all photos of your team members will be displayed, regardless of which leg they ran.

When ordering there is now an option to have the event logo overlaid on your photo (not obscuring you, of course!).

NOTES: I do this as a hobby, and do not have a team of photographers at my disposal. This was more of a volunteer effort (proceeds from photo sales are being split with BC Athletics). I tried to cover as many areas as possible on foot, but it was impossible to get shots of every relay leg unless I stayed at the exchanges the entire time, which would make for boring photos! I did manage to capture most of the Leg 1 finishers, a few Leg 2 finishers, many Leg 3 and Leg 5 runners, then mostly Legs 6 and 8 runners with a few from Leg 7 (taking advantage of the proximity of Aid Stations 2 and 3). And of course, I captured quite a few of the Ultra runners multiple times. Sorry I was unable to get any photos from Leg 4 - during that time I was walking the longer loop during Legs 3 and 5, on the opposite side of the course. Note, if your bib number was not displayed or was obscured by an arm or hand, your photo has been indexed under Miscellaneous - please check there and submit an index correction when you find yourself or someone you know. Volunteers were photographed too - check under Volunteers for those ones!
